Change terminal prompt colour
How do I change terminal prompt colour on my linux machine?
Check /etc/DIR_COLORS. Make appropriate changes to NORMAL/FILE/DIR-lines and save the file, then copy /etc/DIR_COLORS to /home/username/.dircolors.
