Tweaked the site a bit with help from Google's PageSpeed Insights as well as the Google Chrome Developer Tools to try making the whole shebang faster.
After changing some stuff in the web site backend, the site now loads in 2.1 seconds, instead of the previous 5.8.
Small difference maybe, but consider how long you can wait till a web page has been loaded!
Generally speaking, it's a fact that Visitors loose interest if the page takes longer than one second to load...
