Q: There are some files can't be deleted. What do I do?

A: Try these solutions in this order.

1. It turns out that file-names in windows 2000/XP, in conjunction with very long folder-path names, causes windows not to see the files you want to delete, hence them becoming undeletable. Moving the folder, that contains the undeletable files, to eg the c: root, will most probably allow you to delete those pesky folders with Windows Explorer. DOS usually can 't see the files at all...

3. Check <http://www.softwarepatch.com/tips/howto-delete-xp.html>

4. If all else fails and you absolutely must get rid of those undeletable files, reformat the harddrive.
