Q: I can't open PDF-files! Adobe Reader is installed, but doesn't respond when clicking the icon.

A: Is there possibly an Accept-Decline prompt waiting behind any windows?
Check Task Manager (control-shift-escape) under the Processes tab if there's any acrobat.exe listed. 
If it does, right-click it and choose End Process.
Then try open the PDF again.
